Just a gay Disney loving guy living life to its fullest 😝⚓️
I recently traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia where I had the chance to have some fun with my film cameras. I recently began to dabble in shooting leisurely on film and have absolutely fallen in love with it. I still have a quite a bit to learn but I am enjoying the process of figuring it out.
Back to our trip: we were there to shoot a destination wedding but were also able to fit in plenty of pleasure time. While we enjoyed laying on warm beaches with the smell of sea salt and pine trees in the air we also made our way outside of Hilton Head Island. As a spur of the moment thing we drove up to see the Old Sheldon Church ruins, arriving just in time to see the last light of the day fall through it’s arches. I was awestruck by the beauty of these old ruins and could have observed all the textures it offered up for hours.
I especially enjoyed our time spent in Savannah, Georgia. I am a sucker for old buildings, bumpy cobblestone roads and that “small town” feel. I was surprised by how many delicious places there were to eat as well. We had a great lunch at Zunzie’s, good cold brew at The Coffee Fox and fantastic dinner at The Public Kitchen. If good company is what makes a good meal then my favorite meal was definitely had at Soho Cafe. I got to catch up with a good friend there and hear about the growing baby in her belly and ghost stories about the town. It was a lovely time with a lovely friend. We also enjoyed a short visit to the Wormsloe Plantation where we may have arrived after the gate was closed and may have jumped a fence to get inside. The view of that avenue lined in spanish moss covered oaks was totally worth it.
Thank you for sharing all your glory and Southern charm with us Georgia and South Carolina. We feel blessed to have enjoyed some time on your land.
